Installation Tips:

• Torque Specification: Always torque the oil filter to 120 ft-lbs. As with any critical hardware such as lug nuts, it's recommended to check your oil filter before any high-performance event like HPDE, road racing, autocross, or drag racing.
• Paint Marking: To ensure the filter hasn't loosened, applying a paint mark is a helpful visual aid.
• O-Ring Lubrication: Always lubricate O-rings and threads with clean engine oil to ensure proper sealing.
• Inner Filter Guide Support: The inner plastic filter guide/support must be removed from the old filter housing and installed into the new MMR housing. If you do not have this part or would like a replacement, it can be added when purchasing from MMR.
