18 inch rear wheels can now be installed on the rear of any 2020 Ford GT500 Mustang. These rear vertical links are essential for any dedicated track car and the best part, NVH increase is minimal so we use them on our street cars as well!

This upgrade makes it possible to install most 18 inch and larger rear wheels for performance driving, track, or competitive racing. The links also reduces defection caused by the soft rubber bushings used on the OEM vertical links.

These parts can be installed at home with standard tools. After installation, it is best to have the alignment check by a professional alignment shop.
What does this do for you?
The factory Ford vertical link on the GT500 is oriented downward at the upright placing closer to the barrel of the rear wheel. This change was made to accommodate the new rear brakes on the GT500 which has a separate electric parking brake. The redesign by Ford created more space to package the e-brake caliper but it also limits the wheel size that can be used on the rear of the car. Customers wanting to install 18-inch wheel what have more size wall for drag race use can now do so without the vertical link contacting the barrel of the wheel during heavy braking.
Made from billet 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with stainless steel reducer spacer. No more deflection under loading which means power is put down the ground quicker and with less wheelhop. This leads to quicker launches and lower 60 ft time.
The CorteX Racing vertical links utilize American made high-quality rod ends with stainless balls and Teflon lined races so you will have years of trouble-free operation, just like our camber plates and sway bar end links.
